Covid-19 Guidance
On 1st April, the government updated their Covid-guidance and outlined their 'Living with Covid-19' plans.
Please follow the most up-to-date guidance for schools if your child shows symptoms of Covid-19:
- Children and young people who are unwell and have a high temperature should stay at home and avoid contact with other people. They can go back to school when they no longer have a high temperature, and they are well enough to attend.
- Children and young people under the age of 18 with a positive COVID-19 test result should stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days, which is when they are most infectious. They can return to school on day 4. For adults, the advice is to stay at home for 5 days and return to work on day 6.
- Regular asymptomatic testing is no longer recommended in any education setting.. Therefore, we will no longer be able to order test kits.
